Alan Foster - Partner: Head of Family Department
Alan joined Rix & Kay after graduating from the University of Newcastle and gaining his Articles with a firm in the Midlands. Throughout his time with Rix & Kay he has concentrated on Family Law work and heads the Family Law department from our Uckfield office. Alan is also a long standing member of Resolution (Formerly the Solicitors'Family Law Association). Alan has successfully completed the two year course to qualify as an Associate Member of the Association of Contentious Trust & Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). Alan has recently been listed by Chambers and Partners (http://www.chambersandpartners.com/uk/) with the following "Alan Foster at Rix & Kay earns a raft of positive feedback for his quality work, particularly in and around East Sussex." In his spare time Alan is a keen sportsman having played cricket for Heathfield Park, hockey for Lewes and football (many years ago!) for Heathfield Hotspurs. He is also a season ticket holder at Brighton and Hove Albion FC.
