Wendy Morcom - Legal Executive: Catastrophic Injury
Wendy joined Rix & Kay in early 2008 having spent the previous 5 years working in the Personal Injury Department of a Firm in Cornwall. She gained considerable insight into personal injury claims of all types from straight forward whiplash-type injuries to severe brain injuries and soon realised that she preferred the particular challenges that catastrophic injuries posed. Wendy has studied for her Institute of Legal Executives exams whilst working full time and bringing up her son single-handed and in June 2008 will obtain her Fellowship as recognition for all her hard work. She is a member of the Kent Acquired Brain Injury Forum, Sussex Acquired Brain Injury Forum and Headway; and will shortly be joining the local branches of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and the Institute of Legal Executives. Outside of work Wendy’s main passions are country music and line dancing. She also enjoys gardening and DIY.
